Fort Point has an exciting new opportunity available in Orange, TEXAS to work at one of the world's leading chemical manufacturing plants. We are searching for a Mechanical Engineer / Project Engineer to work on site for a premier Engineering, Procurement, Construction (EPC) company. Responsible for:
Developing plans, sections and details as required for fabrication and installation of retrofit and new projects at the operating facility site.
Conduct drawing reviews and participate in project meetings.
Work with Mechanical Engineers to ensure that all applicable codes and standards are met and reflected on drawings.
Work with the Precision shop as needed during the fabrication phase of high pressure components.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering - BSME
10-15 years of Engineering experience
Previous experience in the design of high pressure components relative to reactors, autoclaves, and extruders used in the manufacturing of various polymers.
Previous experience in CoPolymers is preferred but not mandatoryEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
