We are seeking a bi-lingual detail-oriented and motivated Operations Helper to join our team.
The Operations Helper will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our organization.
Candidate for Operations Helper will assist with different projects with in the organization as assigned by the Operations Coordinator.
Seeking Bi-lingual candidate.
The individual will assist with inventory used in repair of barges.
The individual is responsible for upholding confidentiality.
Reports material updates, receives material,scheduling updates and other necessary information to Operation Coordinator.
Compile, copy, sort, and file records as well as maintain inventory.
Cleaning shop and office as needed.
The position will work primarily outdoors tracking inventory for each barge repair job and other assigned duties.
Must be very organized.
Good communication skills.
Operate office machines, such as photocopiers and scanners when needed.
Compute, record, and proofread data and other information, such as invoices, records or reports.
Performs other duties as required.
Physical Requirements Employee will be required to adhere to large amounts of standing, walking, bending, squatting, and lifting.
Will talk and hear to communicate.
Bi-lingual English / Spanish.
Will use arms and hands to signal, grab, hold, turn, push, and pull objects, materials, controls, and tools.
May be required to lift, carry, and move up to 30lbs.
May work at heights, climb ladders and stairways.
Will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, ear plugs, safety vests, gloves, and leather work boots.
