This position is in the Projects Controls Department reporting directly to the Project Controls Manager.
Tasks include managing the Change Management team, investigating extra work issues to establish the root cause, and determining the avenue for cost recovery.
RESPONSIBILITIES Manage a team of change management coordinators.
Oversee daily activities regarding change management.
Mentor and provide training for change management coordinators/lead.
Implement/Modify processes for change management based on the project contract.
Manage reporting of Change management to the Client, Project, and Home Office.
Read and understand Joint Venture, Consortium or Partnership agreements (as applicable) Read and understand purchase order language in Vendor and Subcontract PO's.
Read and understand the technical details, drawings, specifications, codes, and standards set forth by the project to be able to prove entitlement for change management.
Develop Client or Engineering change orders as allowed by contractual agreements.
Review RFI's, NCR's, DCN's and spec deviations.
Develop and process Back charges.
Develop basic estimates as back up documentation.
Maintain interpersonal relationships to interface with Operations, Engineering, Procurement, Subcontracts, QC, Enterprise/JV Accounting, Vendors and Client.
Prepare documents for budget transfer or cost recovery based on contractual agreements.
Support Operational and Technical craft supervision needs regarding drawings and specification, data analysis, reporting, and engagement with design engineers for extra work issues.
Job RequirementsREQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree or 10 plus years of construction experience 10-15 years of experience in Construction Engineering/Project Controls Strong communication, both verbal and written Ability to work independently and with a team.
Ability to manage team.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Above average writing skills Complete tasks with little to no supervision Strong decision-making ability Ability to identify scope transfer, quantity growth, extra work and determine root cause.
WORK ENVIRONMENTEmployee will work in multiple environments including an office, warehouse and in a trailer or building on sites.
On work sites noise levels will be moderate to high.
Job site will contain:
light to heavy equipment vehicles, small to large equipment, materials, communication equipment and tools, people standing, walking, sitting, signaling and talking, bells whistles and alarms.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
